The Chautauqua County Office of Paranormal Investigation, better known as the CCOPI, was founded in June of 2000 by lead investigator John Smith. Located in Chautauqua County, NY, the CCOPI provides service throughout Western NY and the Northern PA area. The CCOPI was established to investigate local paranormal activity from beyond the grave. To this day we continue in our quest to collect the evidence and find the answers.
The services of the CCOPI are provided at no cost. We are here to listen to your experiences, and help you deal with the unknown. Our team conducts every investigation with the latest in advanced technology. All evidence remains private unless you sign a formal release to post or publish. After every investigation we will provide you with a copy of all evidence collected in the process.
Within the CCOPI there are three levels of membership: Lead Investigator, Case Manager, and Investigators. The Lead Investigator ensures all investigations are well organized and performed in a timely fashion. The Case Manager provides the starting point of an investigation by interviewing and researching, and participates throughout the investigation. The role of the Investigators is to help collect and analyze evidence and to provide support for the Case Manager.
